                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       I am the only child between Wallace L. Exum and my Mother Joyce Aileen Exum. I have put this Blog/Website together to keep my Fathers legacy alive.  Through his artwork, books, along with life's experiences and  42 years in the Navy, he influenced the lives of thousands, from Elementary-High School and College students to Admirals and Captains in our Untied States Navy.  My Father passed away August 19th 2013 and is buried near Seattle Washington at the Tahoma National Cemetery. He was 86 at the time.





Short  Bio
Wallace Louis Exum was born in Akron, Ohio.He grew up in San Francisco, and later attended UCLA and Hollywood Art Center.After having served 42 years with the United States Navy, Mr. Exum retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 4.Among his various assignments while on active duty Mr. Exum taught Navigation at the US Naval Officer Candidate School at Newport, Rhode Island. During the early 1970's Wally Exum is known for his  Victorian sketches of Old Port Townsend his series of Tall Ships and later for his beach scenes from Ocean Shores Washington. Front page articles in all major Northwest newspapers about his artwork and books gained him wide recognition.
